Utility models

Proceedings of utility models application are held according to the Law No. 478/1992 Coll. about the utility models the Law No. 435/2001 Coll. about the patents and te Decree No. 223/2002 Coll. The registration of the utility model is performed on the registration principle. There exists the possibility to divert from the patent application to the utility model.

The validity of utility model is four years from the filing date and can be twice prolonged by three years.

Further services in the area of the utility models provided by our agency:

· Drawing up the utility model application in case of diversion from the patent application.
· Drawing up the proposal.
· Answering to the proposal for the utility model determination or annulment.
· Compiling the appeal against the decision of the Office.
· Continued prosecution of the legal status of the protected solutions, the maintenance in force of the protected solutions inclusive.
